Dennis Publishing acquires Digital SLR Photography - New sector move for Dennis Publishing as they bring the photography magazine into their portfolio.
Dennis Publishing who own brands such as PC Pro, Computer Shopper and iGizmo announced yesterday that Digital SLR Photography will be joining their family.
This will be the first photography title to appear in the publishing companies portfolio and marks a move into a new sector for the company.
The current editorial and advertising team of the magazine will become Dennis Publishing employees but remain at their premises in Peterborough.
Daniel Lezano, Editor and co-founder of Digital SLR Photography said: "We're very excited at joining the diverse and innovative portfolio of titles at Dennis Publishing. Digital SLR Photography magazine has enjoyed a successful two years and the acquisition by Dennis offers countless opportunities to further develop the potential of the title and help us to establish it as a leading innovator in the photography magazine sector. In particular, the expertise and resources that Dennis has in key areas such as marketing, distribution and subscriptions will ensure we can accelerate the growth in readership and take Digital SLR Photography to new levels of success."

The publishing company hope to help the title grow with their expertise in subscriptions and digital publishing.

My congratulations go out to the Halo team for producing what I think is one of the best magazines out there. Dan (editor), Luke (design) and Nat (advertising) have done a grand job over the two years since they launched the title. I'm sure they will continue to forge forward under the new ownership of Dennis Publishing. Well done so far ,and good luck for the future guys.
