First public showing of X-Rite's Pulse ColorElite at Focus on Imaging - Colour Confidence will be unveiling the new high-end soft-proofing solution
"The announcements we are making at Focus On Imaging reflect how the market has evolved and the growing appreciation by both professional photographers and prosumers of the benefits of a good colour management solution. Last year's show proved to be a strong launchpad for sales of our colour management solutions but we envisage that this year's will create an even bigger demand. In order to ensure that we can effectively display our growing range of solutions, we have doubled the size of this year's stand. In addition, Colour Confidence has used its strong relationships with key industry players to ensure visitors to our stand will benefit from considerable expert advice," commented Geoffrey Clements, Managing Director, Colour Confidence.
Representatives from the major colour management vendors including, Colorvision, GretagMacbeth, X-Rite and Fixerlabs are all joining Colour Confidence experts on the stand to demonstrate a wide-range of solutions and to offer insightful comment and colour guidance.
X-Rite is unveiling the Pulse ColorEite, which leads the way in delivering high-value professional colour management solutions to professional photographers and "prosumers". Pulse incorporates a level of sophistication and image accuracy at a value not seen in this market. Features of the Pulse system include a new precision handheld spectrophotometer, the MonacoOPTIXXR monitor calibrator, advanced colour management software, the Pathfinder hand-scanning guide and an innovative storage unit. Pulse also adds ease of use to professional colour management, incorporating a wizard-like interface that walks the user through the profiling process.
ColorVision exhibits the fastest selling colour management product of all time - the Spyder2. The extended functions and hardware design has proved particularly popular with photographers who were becoming increasingly frustrated with imaging results not offering a true representation of the original picture. Following its successful launch at Photokina, the Spyder2 has gone on to become the fastest selling monitor calibrator of all time. For photographers working to a tight budget, ColorVision also demonstrates the hugely popular ColorPlus, an affordable introduction to monitor calibration devices that offers a simple migration path to Spyder.
GretagMacbeth presents its extensive Eye-One range that provides an ideal solution for digital photographers who need reliable colour throughout their digital photographic workflow. Eye-One offers a colour management solution that ensures consistent colour reproduction from display to proof to final output. The Eye-One portfolio includes the Eye-One Photo, Eye-One Proof and Eye-One Design. These well-established and popular products now possess new configurations and price points, available to visitors of the Colour Confidence stand.
FixerLabs will unveil the new SizeFixer XL at the exhibition. The SizeFixer XL builds on the quality and functionality of the original SizeFixer SLR by including the capability to upsize beyond A1 and CMYK support.
In addition, Colour Confidence also reveals details of a new high-end soft proofing solution that brings professional-level colour accuracy only previously available on CRT technology. Further details will be revealed at the exhibition.
In response to the demand for colour management solutions, Colour Confidence will also be offering special exhibition prices to visitors of their stand, on a wide-range of products. The show provides an ideal venue for visitors to discuss their specific colour management requirements with all the key vendors and benefit from promotional prices on popular solutions and offerings.
