Shooting stars on the Bowens stand - Visit Bowens on their stand at Focus to see some free photography demonstrations.

Press Release:
Bowens has commissioned three leading photographers and an international fashion model to run eight free creative fashion and beauty demonstrations at Focus (Stand B20).
Following last-minute negotiations the multi-award-winning Edinburgh-based duo Trevor and Faye Yerbury will reveal fashion and glamour shooting secrets using latest Bowens’ lighting equipment.
And Liverpool-based ex-heavyweight boxer Steve Collinson, a colour blind photographer who likes to use a tin lid from a chocolate box to bounce light into people’s faces, has signed up to demonstrate his unique shooting style that has won international acclaim in the fashion arena in recent months.
Robert Cook, Bowens’ marketing director said: "This is truly an eleventh hour coup for us. These hour-long ‘Light always follows the path of the beautiful’ classical and contemporary portraiture demos will be compelling events for all Focus visitors interested in learning how the real shooting stars do it."
He added: "Trevor and Faye Yerbury, who host seminars and workshops across Europe, are acknowledged masters of their art. And Steve Collinson is an exciting, unconventional photographer with his own unique creative shooting strategies. Although we do rather hope he will be swapping the chocolate tin-lid lighting option for our rather more efficient alternatives."
The time and the place:
- Bowens Stand (B20)
- Steve Collinson sessions: Sunday and Monday: 11:00- 12 noon: 14:00 -15:00
- Trevor and Faye Yerbury sessions: Tuesday and Wednesday: 11:00 -12 noon: 14:00 – 15:00
