Free trials for Creative Suite 3There are two ways to get a trial, either by downloading a trial or by ordering a trial DVD set. When the trial expires, you must purchase the software to continue using it. The new trial process enables you to evaluate a product and then convert the installed trial to an unrestricted version by purchasing it and entering a serial number.

Web and design product trials are available now. For video products and Master Collection, Adobe will ship the retail, upgrade, education, and volume licensing versions of the software. However, Adobe recognise that trial versions are a critical tool for evaluating new versions of products, and expect to make them available within six to eight weeks of shipping the products. In the meantime, you can try the previous version of video products: Adobe Premiere Pro 2.0, Adobe After Effects 7.0, Ultra 2, or DV Rack HD2.

To simplify your trial conversion, it is recommended that you try the product you intend to buy. If you evaluate one trial product and then buy another, you need to uninstall the original trial product before installing the purchased product.
