The Mobile Drive MG, now featuring thunderbolt connectivity, allows data transfers up to 20 times faster from Mac devices.

Dick C. Hoogerdijk, president and CEO of Freecom, said: "Our new Thunderbolt enabled drive is as powerful on the inside as it is beautiful on the outside, offering lightning fast data transfer and a huge capacity, with all of the design features people have learnt to expect from Freecom."

The Mobile Drive MG is available from all Apple Stores, Apple Premium resellers and Freecom's website. It will cost £189 and should be available from July 2012.
