The Zoom Date 1000 uses a large LCD display screen on the reverse of the camera, which is a first for the Fujfilm series of film cameras.  The LCD screen allows the user to more easily navigate the Zoom Date 1000's major functions - including flash settings, self-timer, focus and date and time settings. Backlit for easy viewing in low light, the LCD screen glows light green, changing to orange when settings are altered.

The Zoom Date 1000 has a range of Flash Modes to suit all kinds of night and indoor photography including Auto Flash, Fill-in Flash, Red-eye reduction and Night Portrait mode.  A well-placed master control button offers quick and easy operation of the Digital Programmed Zoom Flash as well as the other features.

The Zoom Date 1000 has a Super EBC Fujinon 3.6 X Zoom lens, using the same unique technology found in Fujifilm's highly regarded professional lenses, to eliminate flare and glare for natural colours and tones.

Fuji say the Zoom Date 1000 is incredibly easy to use and it's cased in hardwearing aluminium. It also comes in premium gift set packaging, with case, strap, 24 exposure Superia film, lithium battery and owners manual.

Muir Keir, Fujifilm Camera Product Manager comments, ' The Zoom Date 1000 is an exciting addition to Fujifilm's 35mm compact camera range. Leading the impressive line-up which now includes the Zoom Date 90, 120 and 145, the Zoom Date 1000 is well positioned to take Christmas buying season by storm.'
