Now 35mm camera users can take advantage of Fujifilm's new high speed colour negative film, NPZ 800, with the announcement of immediate availability in the UK.
Fujifilm Professional Imaging replaced its Fujicolor portrait film NHG II 800 with NPZ 800 at the end of last year, but at the time it was only available for medium format camera users.
The high speed film is especially suitable for portraits, wedding and fashion photography and has been well received by its users.
Fujicolor NPZ 800 uses the latest fourth layer technology which helps simulate human colour perception. As with other films in the NPZ family - NPS, NPC and NPH, this fourth colour-sensitive layer enables the reproduction of images under mixed light, such as natural and fluorescent and also boasts wide exposure latitude. The colours also give high fidelity with little evidence of grain and produce fresh, natural skin tones.
Jeanette Beattie, Fujifilm Professional's Marketing Services Manager, says: 'Fujicolor NPZ 800 is a highly sensitive film which will give natural, true-to-life results even in dark, low light situations, as well as being ideal for scanning. Now that 35mm is available, all photographers can try the film for themselves to see just how good it is.'
The film is only available in 5-roll packs of 35mm (36 exp). For medium format camera users, 120 and 220 5-roll packs are also available.
