Fujifilm has announced the new Fujifilm FinePix SL1000, with 50x optical zoom lens, equivalent to 24-1200mm, it features full HD video recording, optical image stabilisation, a 16 megapixel backlit CMOS sensor, 3 inch tilting screen and manual controls.
From Fujifilm: The SL1000 incorporates a newly-developed 50x optical FUJINON zoom lens with fast apertures of f2.9 to f6.5 and a new Optical Image Stabilisation (OIS), to reduce the effects of blurring at longer zoom lengths.
With 17 elements in 12 groups, the lens combines aspherical and ED elements for reduced aberrations and superior image quality.
The FinePix SL1000 uses a 16 megapixel 1/2.3 inch BSI-CMOS sensor with the ability to shoot at sensitivities as high as ISO 12800, ensuring you capture high quality images even in low light conditions.
With autofocus speeds as fast as 0.2 seconds, a start-up time of 0.9 seconds, and continuous shooting mode at 10fps at full resolution (max. 9 frames), the FinePix SL1000 ensures you’ll never miss a shot.
