Fuji make great optics and there cameras are sturdy and built well. They may not have the prestige of cannon but a decent Fuji camera in the right hands can easily match a Cannon/Nikon in most cases.Although Cannon make great cameras lots of people buy them thinking that because they have a great camera the pics will follow.I think the fuji bridge cameras are great at getting new photographers eye in and ability to set up a camera manually before they go out and spend a shed load on a camera and only ever use the preset programs and Auto.

This looks like encouraging news. Wouldn't it be great if these cameras use the Nikon F-mount, just like the S3, S5 etc? I hope that they use the larger 1-and-two-thirds EXR back-side illumination sensor.
I remain puzzled that Fuji stick with the FujiFILM name though, surely the film part is no longer relevant to their digital camera business?

I would think that the mount would be smaller than the Nikon F- mount.
