Like other new Fujifilm cameras, the X100s benefits from the new Fujifilm menus that are more neatly arranged. The Fujifilm X100s has the same number of buttons and controls externally as the X100, and will benefit from the Q button for quicker access to options on the rear screen (Shown above is an early pre-production version showing a RAW button, which will be replaced with a Q button on production models, which can be seen here). The ample external controls for aperture, shutter, exposure, Q button and the Fn button should suffice for the majority of settings, without the need to enter the menus.

Fujifilm X100s vs X20: The classic looks of the Fujifilm X100 and X10, have made them popular compact cameras for street shooting, and with the design continuing on the new models, these should also be popular for street shooting. Improvements made in focus speeds and responsiveness will also help to quickly capture the moment.

The camera we were shown must have been an early prototype. We'll update the article.

It's amazing how the 'retro' look is 'in' when it comes to this kind of camera design. I remember so many 35mm rangefinder cameras looking like this when I started buying AP in 1976!
