New photos on sale - The London Photographic Association have launched a unique online gallery offering wide range of limited edition photographs.
The power of the web has been harnessed by industry body the London Photographic Association LPA with the launch of Gallery 1839, a unique venture that will sell photographers work directly to the public for the first time.
The online gallery will promote and sell the work not only from international contemporary fine art photographers and artists but will also include and introduce a mix from some of the UK's most exciting emerging talents. Prints will be made individually to order in a choice of sizes by a specialist photographic printer that will ensure that each is of the highest quality.
Each print will be one of a limited edition that will be embossed with the Gallery 1839 London stamp and be accompanied with a certificate of authenticity which will be signed by the photographer and feature the print edition number and other essential details.
In addition, the gallery also has on offer a selection from Getty Images featuring some of the iconic photographs held in the Hulton archive.
Gallery 1839 has been created by LPA director Kevin OConnor who said:
"This is a really exciting venture not just for members of the public wishing to buy fine art photographs but as well as for the photographers themselves and the industry as a whole. Photography has come a full circle - using the latest technology we are now able to create real photographs of the very highest quality from digital images that will create a lasting legacy for the men and women that created them. We believe that Gallery 1839 will become the source of choice for anyone looking to buy fine art photographs from someone who may want one specific image through to interior designers looking to build a complete themed portfolio of work."
