Out on the streets - London based photographer Gary Alexander will be running a Street Photography Workshop between 22nd Sep and 6th Oct in conjunction with Photofusion photography courses.
Press Release:
The workshop takes place over two Saturdays with a week in-between to give participants time to practice. The aim of the workshop is to explore street photography in it’s broadest sense and to give the participants the opportunity to develop confidence, explore their own visual ideas and find ways to successfully photograph on the streets. Participants will be encouraged to consider an individual approach to their photography during the workshop with the intention of producing a themed set of pictures.
In preparation for the first session a list of web links will be circulated via e-mail and participants will be asked to think about ideas for a small project. The workshop is aimed at all levels of photographers who are keen to explore the genre of street photography. You are welcome to use film or digital capture.
Gary Alexander has been photographing on the streets of London for over twenty years. His work was recently shown in the group show ‘Onto the Streets’ at Photofusion in conjunction with Tate Modern.
