GE Cameras UK has announced, on the GE Cameras UK Facebook page
, that GE branded cameras and iPico projectors are no longer on sale in the UK, although they will continue to be sold in the USA.
We reviewed the GE X600
shown above, and found that it offered decent performance, and good value for money. However, with a general decline in the compact camera market, due to increasing use of smartphones, as well as known brands such as Sony
now offering budget priced ultra zoom cameras, it isn't entirely surprising to see camera companies struggling in this market.
