Gomite originally released the Tiltpod as an extremely small tripod for digital cameras but they have now released a version for the iPhone 4 and 4S. It carries an RRP of £12.99 and is available to purchase from Amazon.

Gomite Tiltpod Mobile For iPhone 4/4S Handling and Performance

The Tiltpod comes in two separate parts - the base and the clip, which connects to your iPhone by simply sliding it in. The two parts are connected magnetically, but there is a loop to connect the two together so you don't lose one part. The iPhone is at its steadiest on the Tiltpod when you have it in landscape mode, when in portrait it can be easily knocked over. The Tiltpod rotates around its magnet so you can shoot at the perfect angle. The bottom of the base has enough grip for it to be used on even surfaces when out and about. If you already have the Tiltpod for compact cameras you can attach both to the same base.

There are a few tripod options available for the iPhone, such as the Gary Fong Flip-Cage and Tripod Adapter. Where the Tiltpod excels is its portability as you can attach it to your bunch of keys and barely notice it is there. When you do want to use the Tiltpod, it is easy to attach and can be placed just about anywhere so you can get yourself in group shots or record movies.
