Grays of Westminster - Nikon shop expand stock range
Press Release:
Grays of Westminster, the exclusively Nikon shop based in London, have completed a near-universal stock of New equipment (including all possible Tropical-Grey-finish variants of professional Nikkor black lenses). Furthermore, having backed this up with a stock everything possible range of new Nikon accessories, Grays of Westminster have now turned their attention to the creation and successful completion of a Secondhand Division which is Second-To-None.

Co-founder Gray Levett said that “The combination of New and Secondhand divisions (on separate floors of the same premises) coupled with an unrivalled Accessory division means that Grays of Westminster are now able to offer a Nikon retail experience which is believed to be the most comprehensive in Europe. New equipment is a matter of stocking all that the maker can provide, whereas to create a comprehensive Secondhand range of the finest quality (mainly mint or near-mint condition) has meant a dedicated effort by various individuals over a period of half a year or so. Well, now it has been achieved!”

The Secondhand stock is so vast that 14 of the superb 28-70mm f/2.8 AFD Nikkor lenses can be counted on the groaning shelf of one cabinet, whereas another cabinet contains no less than 8 of the 70-200mm f/2.8G VR AF-S Nikkor lenses. On a different shelf, 105mm f/2D AF DC Nikkor lenses can be found also in multiples, complemented by an equal number of 17-35mm f/2.8 AF-S Nikkor lenses. A further cabinet is dedicated to longer zooms and one other to a vast selection of the finest condition manual focus lenses that are constantly demanded by industrial clientele.

Multiples of Nikon F6, F5, F4, F100, F3 and other leading cameras complement the array of lenses. Accessories that include an unrivalled range of mint condition Action Finders for the F5 (which alone used to retail for almost £1,000) as well as Accessories for the F4 and F3, rub shoulders with the widest deployment of lens hoods (some going back 30 years) assembled in any retail store.
