Press Release: Hahnel Industries
Hähnel industries, one of the leading battery and charger manufacturers in Europe have introduced a new product range of remote controls for digital SLR’s.

Remote Shutter Release
This new innovative cable remote control for digital reflex cameras is supplied with interchangeable camera connectors and a 2m extension lead. The extension lead gives the user of the digital reflex camera the option to control the vital function of the camera from a distance of up to 0.8m or, with the use of the extension lead, up to 2.8m.

To make it easy to identify the remote control required for a specific camera model, all the camera connectors required for the DSLR cameras of one camera manufacturers brand are included.

The remote control provides for auto-focusing before shutter release and a lock in for continuous shutter release and bulb exposure function.

The hähnel Remote Shutter Release is available for Canon, Nikon and Sony digital SLR’s.

Technical Specifications

  • Eliminates camera shake for long exposure
  • Auto focus, bulb function & continuous shooting functions
  • Provides for auto-focusing before shutter release and a lock in for continuous shutter release and bulb exposure function
  • Interchangeable camera connectors and 2m-extension cable. Distance of 0.8 m without extension cable & 2.8m with extension cable
  • Available for all Canon, Nikon and Sony DSLR cameras

Wireless RF Remote Control

The wireless RF Remote Control is a must have for any DSLR user. It is designed to allow you to take shots on a tripod without having to touch the camera and therefore eliminating any camera vibration that can occur when touching the shutter button.

The advantage of a radio remote control in contrast to the infrared is that the signal uses radio waves, which means that transmission is possible through obstacles such as walls and ceilings.

The ultra high frequency of 433MHz used by this model ensures that this remote control has an effective range of 30m .

The remote control provides for auto-focusing before shutter release and a lock in for continuous shutter release and bulb exposure function.

A four-digit code selector switch, which is built into the transmitter and receiver, allows individual codes to be set, protecting against outside interference from other sources.

To make it easy to identify the remote control required for a specific camera model, all the camera connectors required for the DSLR cameras of one camera manufacturers brand are included.

Batteries included, 2 x AA and 1 x 23A (12V).

The hähnel RF wireless Remote Control is available for Canon, Nikon and Sony digital SLR’s.
