Hahnemuehle Bamboo 290 Fand Baryta 325 fine Art inkjet paper

The new products were favourably received by the photographers and will be available from the beginning of November in the usual sheet and roll sizes.

Bamboo 290 is the first FineArt inkjet paper to be made of approx 90% highly renewable bamboo fibres, thereby helping to conserve valuable resources. Its natural white tone makes it particularly suitable for warm-hued colours. The paper’s wide colour gamut and extreme colour density ensures detailed FineArt prints with a three dimensional image sharpness. Hahnemühle will donate a fixed amount – depending on product size - from the sale of each Bamboo paper product towards environmental projects. Until the end of this year everyone has the opportunity to propose a project on the website www.green-rooster.com. Voting on the projects selected starts 1st of February next year and finishes end of 2008. Then the amount donated will be divided accordingly between the chosen projects.

The eagerly anticipated FineArt Baryta 325 paper with its unique glossy baryta surface similar to baryta paper makes it ideal for brilliant black and white prints with the finest grey nuances and also for luminous colour photographs. This paper is a worthy replacement for the legendary baryta paper from analogue laboratories and also possesses the exquisite touch and feel, the 4th dimension typical for Hahnemühle papers. As with all other products in the Hahnemühle Digital FineArt Collection these two new products are also extremely age resistant.

For next year, Hahnemühle announces the introduction of PhotoRag Baryta 315, a warm toned baryta paper as a supplement to the successful PhotoRag series.
