Socially Lonely
'Socially Lonely' by Iman Tajik

Harman technology Ltd is delighted to announce the winners of the UK Student Competition 2013 entitled 'Pride & Prejudice'.

This annual competition for photographic students continues to attract hundreds of entries from education establishments throughout the UK. The number and quality of entries grows year on year.

Steven Brierley, Director of Sales & Marketing at Harman said, “It always fascinates us in the way that students show their interpretation of the competition theme. This year was no exception to that. From the vast number of entries there was a wide variety of thought and ideas presented.”

The title of Ilford Photo Student Photographer of the Year 2013 – Darkroom was awarded to Iman Tajik from City of Glasgow College for a print entitled 'Socially Lonely'. The Runner Up was Stephen Salmon of Anglia Ruskin University with 'Baby and Chain'.

Kieron Price from Leicester College takes the title of HARMAN technology Student Photographer of the Year 2013 – Digital with his winning print 'Hidden Life' while Christopher Andrews also of Leicester College was Runner Up with 'United'.

As well as their titles the winners received an awards certificate and £150 to spend at harmanexpress.com, and the winning images mounted and framed by Ilford Lab Direct. The Runners Up also receive a certificate and £100 to spend at harmanespress.com.

Cardinal Newman College submitted the most eligible entries and will receive a voucher for £250 to spend on products of their choice from the Harman Express website.
