Hasselblad announce price reduction and new Ever Ready case

Hasselblad have announced that a key accessory in the Hasselblad XPan camera system has been reduced in price!

Due to the far greater than expected popularity of the X system it has been possible to reduce the price of the XPan Center Filter for the 45mm lens from £180 + VAT to £155 + VAT as of June 1. 2003.

The Center Filter for the 45mm lens ensures the highest corner-to-corner illumination by neutralising the natural effect of light fall-off that may be apparent in critical applications on transparency film in the panorama format. Light fall-off may be noticeable particularly when using large aperture settings, by using deliberate under-exposure. or both, on transparency film.

New for the Hasselblad Xpan: An ever ready case
A soft leather case, designed for both XPan and XPan I!. will shortly be available from Hasselblad Stockists. The top of the case can be separated for convenient camera operation. while the bottom part remains attached to the camera via the tripod bush in the base of the camera.
