The HP CD-writer cd24ri is a maximum performance internal drive for users
requiring fast write, rewrite and read speeds allowing users to write up to
700Mb of data or up to 80 minutes of audio in less than six minutes. The drive
offers up to 24x write, 10x rewrite and 40x read speed and has an estimated
street price of 179. It also includes a complete software suite to
meet the more advanced users' needs.
The HP CD-Writer cd16ri is a high-speed, mid-range drive with an estimated
street price of 159. It allows users to store and share compressed audio files
(including MP3s), digital images and digital information while offering up to
16x write, 10x rewrite and 40x read speed, a complete software suite and a
simple EIDE interface.
