Hewlett-Packard launches new range of digital cameras

With point-and-shoot features, the photosmart 318 digital camera is the perfect first-time buy say hp. Both cameras offer 2.3 megapixel resolution, 2x digital zoom and a 1.75-inch colour liquid crystal display (LCD) as well as automatic exposure control, red-eye reduction,
automatic flash and an energy saving status display.

The automatic change modes make it easy to capture, review and download photos to a PC or Mac.  The photosmart 612 digital camera also features both an optical and digital zoom for a total combined zooming capacity of 4x. 

HP Photosmart 715 Digital Camera
More advanced than the point-and-shoot cameras, the photosmart 715 offers 3.3 megapixel resolution, 3x optical zoom and 2x digital zoom for sharp photos every time. The 16 MB CompactFlash card stores up to 162 photos in low resolution, 20 in mid resolution and 10 in high resolution. Automatic change modes make it easy to capture, review and download photos to a computer, while macro capability is included for close up shots.

Each hp digital photography product comes with hp's easy-to-use photo imaging software, allowing users to view photographs, create and print photo albums and control every aspect of the photograph such as sharpness, shadows, colours and image resolution.  The software means that images can be downloaded automatically from the camera to a Mac or PC.
