Owners of ColorEdge monitors can use ColorNavigator 6 - Eizo's dedicated calibration software - to achieve an accurate display that's tailored to their purpose / needs.
The software is equipped with a variety of application functions to suit many different uses, including the option to set adjustment targets up manually.
To add your own target adjustments rather than using the preset adjustment targets already available you need to open the software and select the 'Create a new target' button which can be found on the lower-left side of the screen.
Four options will appear which will allow you to do the following:
'Enter manually' - Make adjustments using numerical values.
'Measure a target' - Measure paper white or ambient light and set the results as a target white. If the target is a monitor, you can also measure red/green/blue colours and set the results as a target gamut.
'Load a profile' - Load the values from a monitor profile and set them as a target to emulate the colour.
'Use an existing target' - Use an existing target to create a new target. When using the multiple monitors, you can use the target of another monitor.
When setting the adjustment target manually you'll first come to a section where you can set the monitor Gamut but if this is not required, just make sure 'Monitor native' is selected and click next. Here you can move the 'Brightness' and 'White point' cursors (recommended brightness: 80-120 cd/m2, recommended white point: 5000-6500 K). Values for colour gamut, black luminance and gamma can also be set manually on the sections that follow.
You can give your new target a name then hit finish to start the adjustment. You can also customise your profile if you need to. The new adjustment target will then be listed in the 'Target' section of the ColorNavigator 6 software's front screen.
