Also taking advantage
of the new Photoret IV technology, the Photosmart 7150 can be connected directly
to a HP digital camera with direct printing capability.
Company today unveiled the new HP Photosmart 7150 photo-direct inkjet printer,
offering the ultimate combination of true-to-life photo quality and innovative
features for a wide range of everyday family printing needs.
Thanks to the
latest advancements in HP Photoret IV precision technology, that can combine the
6 primary inks so as to create more than 1,2 million colours on photo media, users
get impressive colour accuracy and true to life, crisp photo quality. The new
photo cartridge combines ultra-small drops (4 picolitres) and new photo inks to
create dots that are barely visible to the human eye. Capable of printing at a
resolution of up to 4800 optimised dpi* in colour, the Photosmart 7150 can also
print sharp, black text with the optional black inkjet print cartridge. In addition,
the convenient front USB port allows users to connect an HP digital camera with
direct printing capability (eg. HP Photosmart 812), for quick and easy direct
printing without the need of a computer.
Designed for families, the HP Photosmart
7150 has a host of time and money saving features including efficient print speeds
(up to 14 pages per minute with the optional black print cartridge), automatic
paper-type detection and ink reserve printing. The convenient 10 x 15 cm paper
tray and HP Premium Plus Photo Paper also enables the printing of traditional-looking
borderless photos. It ships with the new version of HP's Printing and Imaging
software, including HP Memories Disc and a powerful photo album creation software.
