HP announce Pavilion 781 PC

Hewlett-Packard have announced a new PC, the HP Pavilion 781. It incorporates an integrated digital TV card and remote control.

This allows you to preset and digitally record TV programs directly to the hard drive and even pause live TV. This facility means that you could pause the news while you get a cup of tea and come back and resume where you left off.

LONDON, 20 May 2002 -- Hewlett-Packard Company today announces the new HP Pavilion 781 "Football Special" PC, just in time for the World Cup. As well as all the top quality digital entertainment features you expect from an HP Pavilion, the 781 incorporates an integrated digital TV card and a remote control, so you can catch all the football action on your PC.

The HP Pavilion PC 781 allows you to preset and digitally record matches straight onto the hard drive, and even pause live TV so that nothing will spoil your enjoyment of the game. The playback facility means that if you are interrupted you can carry on watching from the point you left off, while it finishes the recording.
