HP Photosmart 850 announced - The Photosmart 850 has a 8x optical zoom and a 4.13 megapixel resolution. It's available now for 399, or 449 with a docking station.
HP have announced the HP Photosmart 850, combining retro styling with manual controls and the latest in digital photo technology.
"HP has found that as people become more confident with digital photography, they want more than just point and shoot features," said HP UK's Image Capture Category Manager, Tim Potter. "For those people thinking of going digital, the HP Photosmart 850 is the perfect choice, combining simple manual controls with the extra functions of a digital camera."
The HP Photosmart 850 lets you set exposure and white balance to control light and colour settings. You can also control aperture, to create movement in your shots or stop the action, and resolution, to fit more or fewer images on your memory card depending on how detailed you want your photos to be. When combining these manual features with 8x optical zoom, the HP Photosmart 850 ensures precision photography.
In addition to still images, the HP Photosmart 850 allows you to record 60 seconds of video and sound. Once you have captured your moving and still images, you can preview, review and edit photos and videos on the 5 cm LCD. You can also store photos on the 16MB Secure Digital memory card.
