HP have added three flatbed scanners to their range. The Scanjet 3500c, 3530c and 3750c offer up to 1200dpi and 48-bit colour. The 3570c stands out as the first HP scanner that allows for 35mm negative and slide scanning. This is enabled through an integrated transparency adapter in the lid of the scanner.
The scanjet 3500c, 3530c and 3570c scanners are priced at around 65, 85 and 100 respectively and all begin shipping July 1, 2002.

As part of a family of scanners HP is introducing this year, the hp scanjet 3500c, 3530c and 3570c all provide users with photo quality results with up to 1200dpi and 48-bit colour. Modeling a sleek translucent cover and stylish design, the hp scanjet 3570c is the first hp scanner which allows users to scan 35 mm negatives and slides using a transparency adapter integrated into the lid.
The hp scanjet 3530c and 3570c also feature four convenient, one-touch buttons for scanning, copying, and e-mailing scanned images. The fourth button launches a new multi-media option, the HP Memories Disc Creator, which enables the user to scan images straight to CD, and quickly and simply create their own slide show with music.
These new HP scanners make creating and sharing photos and 35mm slides easy, as well as fun. HP scanjet 3530c /3570c users can now create their own multi-media slide show, as well as scan photos, text, graphics and 3D objects; then print, e-mail and post them on the Web.
The hp scanjet 3500c, 3530c and 3570c scanners are priced at 99, 129 and 149 respectively and all begin shipping July 1, 2002.
