Hundreds Sign Up For Calumets BIG DAY 3 - Calumets June 14 Big Day 3 event for social photographers will be the biggest show of its kind ever staged by the company.

Calumets Chris West said: Canon is our key sponsor at the Royal Court Hotel venue this summer and now over 30 other top-name vendors are signed up for the show. Its going to be a belter the best thing ever for social photographers looking to learn how to both save money and make money in their businesses.
Newly appointed MD Joe Clark added: Calumet Big Days are a proven success. Our focus on June 14 is to create the best ever interface for our suppliers and customers
in the social marketplace. Carefully chosen seminar speakers will cover key workflow issues and throughout the day visitors will get the chance to use their photo-skills at special photo-shoots with royal look-alikes. Well even have a special camera check and chip clean facility at out on-site repair and services clinic.
Calumet has lined up four key speakers for the show.
Andy Johnson, (speaks at 10am) Calumets digital sales and training manager, with 25 years experience in the photo industry, will offer delegates the chance to learn how to take the pain out of digital workflow. He will explain the basics of working with colour management, bit depth, file types, colour balance, histograms, interpolation, unsharp masking and how to archive images.
Award-winning photographer and lecturer Mark Cleghorn (speaks at 11am and 2pm) will provide priceless how to information on the new Photoshop CS2, including working with Adobe Bridge and tips and tricks using Snappy Guides, Vanishing Point and Image Wrap in album designs.
Digital guru John Henshall (12 noon and 3pm) will provide key insights into the DSLR marketplace and debate the explosion of pixel numbers versus pixel quality myths.
Henshall will evaluate the Canon 1DS Mk 11, the 20D, Fuji S3 and Kodak DCS Pro/c plus Canon 350D, Nikon D2X and D50.
Top photographer and SWPP Vice President Tom Lee (1pm) will use images from a digital wedding shoot to illustrate digital camera settings for optimum capture. His seminar will also cover batch processing of files, using raw files and optimising images for printing.
