Epson’s product design has been recognised by the highly regarded iF Product Design Award 2010. A range of products including the Epson label printer TM-C3400, the multifunctional printer Epson Stylus Photo PX650 and the Epson EB projector series (EB-S8, EB-X8, EB-W8), were selected from amongst 2,486 entries for this year’s award and now carry the coveted iF logo. They will be placed on a shortlist for the 2010 iF Gold Awards in March.
For 56 years, the iF Product Design Award has served as an internationally recognised trademark for outstanding design. The award evaluation criteria include design quality, workmanship, choice of materials, degree of innovation, environmental friendliness, functionality, ergonomics, visualisation of use, safety, brand value and universal design.
Robert Clark, Executive Director at Epson Europe, reacted to this news by saying, “to win awards for such a variety of products illustrates the depth and consistency of design excellence Epson is achieving. We are proud to receive the IF Product Design Award and hope to be elected for the iF Gold Awards in March 2010.
The space-saving Epson label printer TM-C3400 is the fastest desktop inkjet label printer available, printing up to 1,000 labels per hour. Its Micro Piezo print head not only ensures sharp, smudge-proof printing but consumes significantly less power than other models.

The Epson EB projector series (EB-S8, EB-X8, EB-W8) delivers excellent contrast, portability and an outstanding 5,000 hour long-life lamp, complemented by a stylish design.
