International Garden Photographer Of The Year - Find out who's won the Photo Projects category in the IGPOTY competition.

The winners of the International Garden Photographer of the Year's Photo Projects category have been announced today.
The theme was 'Monochrome' and Annemarie Farley was awarded first place for her photograph of a rose, titled 'Lilac Rose'. Second place was awarded to Sarah-fiona Helme for her shot of a bumble bee clinging to an Allium flower head as it moved in the breeze. Third prize goes to Polina Plotkinova for her image of a Chrysanthemum.

'Macro Art' Themed Photo Projects Category Call For Entries
The Photo Projects spring category theme for this year is 'Macro Art' - a theme designed to encourage photographers to have fun with macro settings or lenses on their camera and get up close to plants
The winner of the Photo Projects category wins a cash prize of £500 and a copy of the latest IGPOTY book, 'International Garden Photographer of the Year Collection 5' (published in March 2012). Entries cost £10 for 4 images and the deadline is 31 May 2012.
