ILFORD Launches Fresh Media Range

ILFORD has announced a new range of Galerie Premium Lustre and Glossy Papers and Prestige Smooth High Gloss, Smooth Gloss, and Smooth Pearl photo papers.

• GALERIE Premium (4.5*) joins Prestige (5*) in the new GALERIE star rating system, intended to assist consumers in making easier decisions at the point of purchase

GALERIE Prestige Smooth High Gloss has an ultra glossy surface on a unique film base creating the look and feel of metallic media. Developed by the team of ILFORD photo experts in Switzerland, the media features an instant dry, universally compatible layer for superior results with both dye and pigment printers. The dimensionally stable, tear and crease resistant base is coated with a proprietary inkjet receiving layer offering a broad colour gamut and vibrant colours with real depth. Created for a wide range of professional applications, GALERIE Prestige Smooth High Gloss is available in A4, A3+ and 24” roll formats.

The new GALERIE Prestige Smooth Gloss 310 gsm and Smooth Pearl 310 gsm media will continue to offer the same excellent colour gamut, universal printer compatibility and high dynamic range, of its historical 290 gsm predecessor. The new heavy weight 310 gsm options represent a direct response to a response to the growing customer demand from the ILFORD professional inkjet printmakers.
