Press Release: Ilford Logo

With more and more people turning to home printing thanks to the arrival of affordable, user friendly printers on the marketplace, Ilford announces today the UK availability of Office and Create, two complementary products in its Inkjet Photo Paper Range aimed at the consumer retail market.

Building on the successful launch of its photo products earlier this year, Ilford Photo, Premium Photo and Ilford Premium Plus, this range is proof that enthusiastic amateurs are playing an increasingly important role in dictating what the photo industry should be offering. Indeed, Ilford Office and Create were produced after several months of studying the customer closely to ascertain what they really wanted from a consumer photo media.

Available through JP Distribution in major retail outlets across the UK, the Ilford Create range helps users to explore and expand their creative flair. It includes 100% Rag Fine Art Matt Paper and a selection of pre-creased greetings cards with printable envelopes. Budding amateur photographers can put their creative skills to the test and create scrapbooks, calendars and collages using their favourite images. The media is double sided enabling users to write or print their own message inside for an extra, personalised touch.

The Ilford Office range suits all business needs, be it for the home or office, and includes CD/DVD labels, business cards and double-sided matt paper. Available in A4, consumers can customise an array of business applications to obtain a personal yet professional look.

Whether it’s for printing a presentation, CV or company figures or simply noting a change of office address, Ilford Office gives professional results at an affordable price. The CD/DVD labels have been designed for easy use and facilitate the creation of professional labels that reflect a company’s corporate profile. Images can be created in-house without having to outsource work to an arts and graphics agency.

“Ilford Office and Create are the result of extensive market research to establish what the customer really wants,” said Andrew Stewart, Sales and Marketing Director, Ilford Imaging Switzerland GmbH. “This range means we can provide the photo enthusiast with a complete product line for a variety of creative applications. The combination of our quality photo media with the consumer’s artistic skills is the recipe for stunning results!” he concluded.

The Ilford Inkjet Photo Paper Range is supported through the Ilford website where customers will find useful hints and tips to get the best out of any image. For those requiring further help, the Ilford experts can be reached via the Technical Support and Contact Us page and will treat any enquiry with priority and a personalised response.

Ilford Office and Create are compatible with all good quality, including borderless, inkjet printers.

Errr....I think "Ilford, Best in Black & white" is the strapline for Ilford / Harman in the UK, not the separate Swiss inkjet Ilford.

(Although a lot of their inkjet paper is and has been coated in cheshire under contract by Harman.)
