The IPA have awarded Jenny Brough with an Honorable Mention in the Nature - Flowers category in this years awards. During this year, Jenny spoke to ePHOTOzine
about her photography career and has had 4 exhibitions.
When ePHOTOzine asked Jenny about the competition she said: "It was a relief to know that my hard work has been recognised in a worldwide competition and that it's being noticed by professional photographers.
She continued: "I chose to enter this particular flower picture because of its uniqueness and strong structured composition. I also entered the 'Red Shoes' picture as it's the image that people tend to talk about and I wondered what professionals would think of it.

Since graduating from University College Falmouth with a BA (hons) photography degree, 24 year old Jenny who is currently based in Sussex has been pursuing her ambition for a career in fashion and portraiture photography while continuing to develop her flower photography.
Jenny has sold her work to a fine art publisher who praised her work with the assertion that the composition of the pictures was so good that it justified their description as works of art. She has also had her work published as the front cover of 'Picture This' Magazine.
Jenny's more recent flower work is heavily influenced by contemporary fashion and portrait photography, which allows her to bring a unique angle to the medium. It is this composition and the use of clean lines and strong colours that has defined Jenny’s work from other flower photographers.
In just a year she's had 4 exhibitions, been interviewed and written 2 articles for ephotozine and is getting a name for herself as a unique flower photographer.
In the fashion field Jenny has been developing her portfolio with a number of shoots developing good relationships with top class designers, and this award should enhance her standing in this most competitive field.
