The Children's Eyes On Earth International Youth Photography Contest, Festival and Exhibition 2012 are giving anyone aged 17 or under (at the time of entry) the chance to win cameras, printers, a laptop and tablet device in their latest competition.

Organisers say the theme for this year's competition, I Love Nature, I Fear Pollution, will give young people the unique opportunity to 'use photography to highlight crucial issues and share their vision with others throughout the international community.'

All entrants must submit at least one image illustrating the theme "I Love Nature" and one image illustrating the theme "I Fear Pollution". Entries will be assessed by an international judging panel, with a special "Your Choice" prize being awarded by public vote. All entries must be in digital format and can only be submitted through the official contest website.

Prizes include:
  • 1st prize - SLR camera, a laptop computer and a photo printer.
  • 2nd prize - SLR camera, an iPad and a photo printer.
  • 3rd prize - SLR camera and a photo printer.
  • "Your Choice" prize - SLR camera and a photo printer.
The prize winners, each accompanied by a legal guardian, will also travel to Baku in Azerbaijan and participate in The Children's Eyes On Earth Photography Festival And Exhibition. The winners will also have an exclusive photographic workshop in Baku.

The Contest is now open and the deadline for entries is 5 September 2012. Entries will be assessed by the judging panel from 6 September 2012 and the Festival and Exhibition will begin the first week of October 2012 in Baku, Azerbaijan and thereafter will visit major cities around the world.
