Yesterday saw the announcement of Apple's redesigned iOS operating system. There are a whole bunch of new features, but we are going to concentrate on those that will benefit iPhoneographers.
The last iOS update saw the introduction of panoramas, but now you can shoot square images as well and then edit using a range of filters - very much an Instagram feel here. The filters are mono, tonal, noir, fade, chrome, process, transfer and instant.
This has been completely redesigned and brings on collections, moments and years. These are all ways to group your photos and videos, based on the time and place they were taken. So you can look at the photos taken on a particular holiday or trip, or take a look back over a year of your life.
This brand new feature allows you to share your photos and videos quickly and easily with a person who is nearby. You can share over Wi-Fi and Bluetooth with no setup required.
