Jacobs crackers over website - Jacobs open new photographic website offering thousands of bargains plus news of upcoming store events.
All of Jacobs 14 Stores have their own specific web pages where customers can view opening times and up and coming store events, as well as store vacancies to become part of the Jacobs Sales Team.
Elliott B Jacobs, Business Development Manager at Jacobs said, "Our new website is a Photographer’s Dream with over 9,500 products online. We are a specialist Photographic retailer and our new website shows that, if customers cannot find the product they are looking for on our site, then they are encouraged to call us and the team will research price and availability for them. Our team will leave no stone unturned in the pursuit of our customer’s photographic needs. Even better is that once a customer has requested it and we have done the research, it will be available for others to buy within 24 hours. So our customers help each other”.

Their old site was in sore need of an overhaul so I welcome this news though it'd be nice if they'd put a working form up for contacting them - I can't email them without an error message coming up!
If anyone can source a decent lightweight leveller like the Kaidan Quick Tilt Leveler (QPXL-1) for a (far) more reasonable price than that offered by Red-door.co.uk I'd be glad for the info. The Manfrottos (338 and 438 are way too heavy at 600/650g respectively).
I don't think they could have made it 'look' more like the Jessops website if they had tried.
