Jarcom launch MP-202 Power Pan head for tripod - Jarcom have introduced a motorised pan head for tripod users that enables you to smoothly and precisely pan a video camera.
Press release:When taking videos or movies on DVD one of the most difficult things to get right is smooth panning. Jerky movements are one of the greatest give-aways that separate the amateur from the professional and the cost of buying specialist movie kit has for many remained far out of reach.
Now help is hand thanks to the new MP-202 Power Panner from photographic equipment specialists and UK distributor Jarcom Ltd.
The new MP-202 is part of a range of products available from Jarcom including the MP101 & MP101 v360. At a cost just £159.95 inclusive of VAT the MP-202 is an affordable addition a photographers and film makers tools and in the easy reach of the most modest of
budgets.
The MP-202 Power Panner is similar in operation to its predecessor the MP-101 but uses a wireless infra-red remote controller instead of being wired. It can be remotely controlled with ease from the infra-red control handset allowing the camera's view to be adjusted while the photographer remains out of sight.
Whether taking still or moving images the uses and benefits are clear; from general movie making to wildlife photography, event filming or surveillance applications.
The MP-202 features a very wide range of panning angles - with a full 180o horizontal pan - and with either fast or slow panning speeds, always running to ultra-smooth professional panning standards. The unit is remarkably light and compact and fits all standard tripod mounts.
Jarcom is keen to market the new MP-202 and other lines of photographic accessories through a selected network of resellers.
