Jessops 300 AFDC flashgun - Jessops, the UK’s leading photographic retailer, has launched a brand new flashgun designed for use with both digital and film cameras.

Press
Release:
The Jessops
brand 300 AFD flashgun is
available in three models, with flashguns suitable for Canon, Nikon and
Pentax
cameras.
Featuring a bounce and zoom head, the flashgun is dedicated/through the lens, enabling the camera and flashgun to work together to decide the level of lighting required.
Four manually-adjusted flash zoom positions - 28mm, 35mm, 50mm and 85mm - cater for all photographic situations and the flashgun has a guide number of 30m at ISO100 when in the 50mm position.
The product requires 4 AA batteries, which are not included.
As with all Jessops-brand products, the new 300 AFD flashguns are manufactured to an extremely high standard, have a two year warranty, and offer excellent value for money.
All models are priced at £99.99. For a limited time, customers can purchase a 300 AFD flashgun for half price when buying any digital SLR.Explore More

Too late, I bought the canon one.
Nice photo alright- great lighting!
"The product requires 4 AA batteries".
...but will it run on NiMh's?? (were I thinking of buying one - which I'm not
)
LOL...tell me that photo isn't from Jessops advertising a flash gun.....surely not?
I hope it's better than my old Jessops flash, which was without doubt the worst kit I ever owned.
I owned a minolta fit jessops gun a few years ago, and it actually worked really well.....
can't believe jessops released that photo, though. jeez, looks like a dodgy ebay sale
I actually prefer my Jessops 320AFC to the Canon 420EX on my 300V at a third of the price. I use the Canon gun on the 300D, though.
