Jessops Torquay branch wins competition

Champagne corks are popping at the Jessops store in Torquay following its success in coming top in the company's internal competition to find the leading store.

The Jessops Store of the Year competition challenges each of the companies 190+ branches to prove themselves best at customer service, store operation and sales performance.
Stores are eliminated throughout the period of the competition by area and regional management leaving a shortlist. The chairman Tim Brookes and managing director Derek Hine then visit the shortlisted stores to decide the winner.

Torquay store manager Raz Virdee wins 2000, which he plans to spend on a trip to India, other members of staff each win a break to a European destination of their choice.

Raz explained his stores success, "We're over the moon. There's no secret formula, we simply aim to provide the very best for our customers."
