Kodak Easyshare Z5120, M565, M215, C135 and Playfull Zi12

Earlier this week, we reported that Kodak had released the M750 - a 16 megapixel wireless camera with built-in Wi-Fi. Well they've expanded their Easyshare range further with the announcement of four other cameras. There's also a new dual camera joining Kodak's Playfull range.



Easyshare Z5120

Kodak Easyshare Z5120 Camera

The new Z5120 camera features a 26x zoom, Optical Image Stabilisation (OIS) and a 26mm wide-angle lens. This 16Mp camera features Kodak's Share button which makes sharing your photos and HD videos with others even easier, and it also optimised for Wi-Fi sharing with an Eye-Fi wireless memory card (sold separately). It has a focal length of 26–676 mm (35 mm equiv), a 3in display and a 1 / 2.3-type CCD sensor.

For those who want a little help with their photography the Z5120 features Kodak's Smart Capture Technology and blur reduction which automatically detect the scene and adjust the camera settings.

The Kodak Easyshare Z5120 will be available in February for £159.99 (incl. VAT).

Easyshare M565

Kodak Easyshare M565 Camera

The Kodak Easyshare M565 is designed to get you close to the action, quickly so you can then share your work at the push of a button. It features a 5x optical zoom, HD video capture, Kodak's Share button and Eye-Fi cards can be used with it (sold separately). Kodak's Smart Capture Technology and blur reduction features are also built in.

The M565 is a 14Mp camera with a 1 / 2.3-type CCD sensor, a 23-130mm (35 mm equiv.) focal range, it has an ISO range that goes up to 1600 and a 6.9 cm (2.7 in.) TFT colour LCD screen.

The Kodak Easyshare M565 will be available in March. Price TBC.

Kodak Easyshare M215 Camera

Take self portraits or group shots you can now be part of with ease, then upload and share them with your friends at the push of a button with Kodak's new M215 compact camera.

The M215 features a self-portrait mirror to help you compose shots you want to be in and the Share button means you'll quickly and easily have your photos online in no time. The Share button is now optimised for Wi-Fi sharing with an Eye-Fi wireless memory card (sold separately).

Packed in to this small body you'll find a 14 MP, 5X zoom, and HD video capture capabilities. Kodak's blur reduction and Smart Capture Technology are also built in.

The Kodak Easyshare M215 will be available in March for £79.99 (incl. VAT) in black, red and purple.

Kodak Easyshare Sport C135 Camera

The C135 is a waterproof, dustproof camera that can shoot video and 14 MP pictures to 5m (16 ft) underwater. It features Kodak’s Share button and supports the optional Eye-Fi wireless memory card (sold separately).

Built in is Kodak's Auto mode and video is shot easily through the dedicated record button. Underwater white balance mode gives true-to-life colours, auto mode will pick the best settings for the scene you're shooting and a range of scene modes can also be picked from.

The Kodak Easyshare Sport C135 camera comes in red, white, blue and yellow, is priced at £59.99 

(incl. VATand will be available in February.

Playfull Dual Camera Zi12

Kodak Playfull Dual camera

The Kodak Playfull Dual camera combines a video and stills camera in one body. You can shoot 1080p HD video at 60fps and 12 MP BSI CMOS pictures, with a mic jack and a built-in flash to improve its performance. It features a wide-angle lens - 26 mm for stills and 31 mm for video and there's an option to shoot stills while recording video. The camera's screen is a 7.6 cm (3.0 in.) HVGA LCD (460K) and a new Glare Shield can be found on the camera so you can adjust the display, making it easier to view in bright light.

As with all of Kodak's new models this camera features Kodak’s Share button so you can tag images to various websites with just one click. Various scene modes are available and you can edit videos on-camera.

The Kodak Playfull Dual camera will be available in white, during March for £159.99
