Konica Minolta director announces resignation
With Konica Minolta recently announcing their shock decision to withdraw completely from the photographic industry, this news is hardly surprising.

Press Release:
Konica Minolta Holdings, Inc. announces that it has decided the following director and executive officer changes, effective April 1, 2006, at its Board of Directors Meeting held on January 19, 2006.

Yoshikatsu Ota
Director, President and Chief Executive Officer, Representative Executive Officer,
(Currently, Director, Vice President and Representative Executive Officer)

Fumio Iwai
Director, Chairman of the Board of Directors
(Currently, Director, President and Chief Executive Officer, Representative Executive Officer)

Tomiji Uematsu, currently Director, Chairman of the Board of Directors, will resign from the post of Chairman of the Board of Directors as of March 31, 2006.
