We have a look at the new Kowa Prominar Micro Four Thirds lenses, shown here in black - however the black version may not make it to market. Shown above is the new Kowa Prominar 8.5mm f/2.8 (T3.0) lens in black - the lens shown above is a new ultra wide-angle lens, equivalent to 17mm when used on Micro Four Thirds cameras, and is said to have minimal distortion at just 0.12% whilst offering a diagonal angle of view of 106 degrees.
The lenses will be priced between £500 and £800 when they are released on the market in Summer 2014, with the 8.5mm f/2.8 being priced at £800.

Shown above is the Kowa Prominar 12mm f/1.8 (T1.9) lens which is shown in two-tone silver and black design, which is the planned design for the range of three lenses. Unfortunately we were not able to take photos with this lens.
