Lakeland Photographic Holidays Limited Walking - LPH has created a landscape photography break for those that are less mobile.
Lakeland Photographic Holidays in the Lake District has created a practical landscape photography break specifically for those that are less mobile, enabling them to capture Cumbria’s spectacular scenery and access some of its lesser-known views, without the need for long treks.
Its Limited Walking Workshop takes place in June and is a six night escape with dedicated photography tuition, welcoming accommodation, warm hospitality and mouth-watering food included.
Walking on the workshop is limited to one and a half miles per day over fairly even ground, allowing participants to spend more time at each location and concentrate on expert guidance provided by renowned landscape photographer John Gravett, who takes them off the beaten track and provides practical coaching from the field and encourages personal style and flair.
The Limited Walking Workshop is suitable for all abilities, from beginners to skilled snappers and as well as John’s tuition, delicious breakfasts, tasty packed lunches and indulgent four course home-cooked dinners are included.
Comfortable, spacious bedrooms are provided in Lakeland Photographic Holiday’s beautiful home in the charming Lakeland Village of Braithwaite along with stunning views from the doorstep, a digital dark room and a lecture room, making it an enjoyable Lake District escape as well as a great educational break.
Lakeland Photographic Holidays’ Limited Walking Workshop takes place from the 8th of June and costs £750 per person for six nights including accommodation, tuition, food, soft drinks and all excursions (£725 if booked before 31st December 2013).
