Camera and lenses for Landscapes - Without a camera and lens you won't be taking many pictures!
Any camera and lens is good for landscape and it really depends on how you see pictures – and what you own. However, a good all-round pairing would be a wide-angle zoom and a telezoom. For greater versatility, add a macro lens, and for yet more potential, you could add an ultrawide.
The important thing is getting the balance right between having the right lens to achieve what you want without over-burdening yourself with kit. With this in mind the option of a zoom such as a Canon 18-200mm or even the Tamron 18-270mm is worth a thought. Such lenses offer excellent coverage in one package and their modest maximum apertures need not be an issue if you have a tripod.
If you want to travel even lighter, consider one of the new Micro Four Thirds system cameras. They pack a mighty punch for their size.
