Lastolite HiLite Studio Backgrounds

Award-winning manufacturer Lastolite have added two new HiLites to their family.

The new 8 x 7ft version which provides extra height or width to shoot larger groups or for more animated poses will also have an optional vinyl train available that simply Velcro's to either edge.

The smaller 4ft 6in x 3ft 6in version offers an extremely portable solution for quick head and shoulder shots when combined with the 1109 or 1116 support system.

This simple set up background allows the photographer to work in a way that was extremely difficult in the past; ‘High Key' photography on location or in restrictive spaces. There is no longer a need to use a background light behind the subject, just light the background from the sides. As the background is illuminated, your working depth is reduced, allowing the subject to stand close to the background.

Use the HiLite any way you like! It can be rotated and used on its short or long edge and is also free standing; no need for background supports!

They can also be used as a softbox and true to the Lastolite tradition, they collapse into a blue bag.
