The Leica M (Typ 240) is now available to buy, and is a new 24 megapixel full frame digital rangefinder from Leica, and features live view, full HD video recording, focus peaking, as well as automatic lens detection. A clever feature of live view manual focusing is that it will automatically zoom in to a 1x, 5x, or 10x magnified view when you alter the focus.

We had a look at the camera at HarrisonCameras, a stockist of the Leica range, and took these photos and videos with the production version of the camera. We will be posting our full review of the camera as soon as possible, in the meantime, have a look at photos of the camera, menus, sensor and full size sample photos below:
