Leica Mayfair StorePress Release:

Selling the full Leica range of products, the store is located in 34 Bruton Place, Mayfair situated between Old Bond Street and Berkeley Square, London W1.

John Barron, Leica Store Mayfair commercial manager, comments, “Bruton Place is a unique and discreet location surrounded by galleries, restaurants, offices, boutiques and residential properties, and attracts an eclectic mix of customers. We are particularly pleased to be opening here, as the atmosphere will be perfect for Leica enthusiasts, professional photographers and new customers alike.

The store is the latest development for the company following the opening of Leica stores in Tokyo, Berlin, Paris and Moscow.

Additional to the Mayfair ground floor store, there are private first floor Leica facilities where appointment based activities will take place.

Studio S is a fully functional photographic studio showcasing the new Leica S-System. Lighting rigs, screen background and post production kit ensures that professional photographers can receive a full hands-on demonstration.

Akademie is a training/presentation room incorporating an active Leica Pradovit D-1200 projector, high-end audio system and full room black-out capability.

The Leica Store Mayfair facility is set to complement other Leica Dealers and grow the brand in the UK. In particular, Studio S will be fundamental to the launch of Leica’s ultra high-end digital system developed for the professional market.

Opening hours of the store will be 10.00 to 18.00 Monday to Friday, and 10.00 to 15.00 on Saturdays. Office, training facilities and studio will be by appointment only. For more information please visit the Leica Camera website.
