Lexar Announces JumpDrive Triton USB 3.0 Flash Drive

Lexar have released a new flash drive that's 20 times faster than standard USB 2.0 flash drives based on benchmark tests*, offering a 155MB per second read and 150MB per second write speeds.

Available in 16GB, 32GB, and 64GB capacities, the Lexar JumpDrive Triton USB 3.0 Flash Drive takes 35 seconds to copy a 4GB high-definition (HD) movie,** compared to 11 minutes of waiting time with a standard JumpDrive USB 2.0 flash drive.

Lexar have also released the JumpDrive S73 USB 3.0 flash drive which is available in capacities of 8GB, 16GB, 32GB, and 64GB.

Both new USB 3.0 drive designs are compatible with Mac and PC systems. The JumpDrive Triton USB 3.0 comes with a limited lifetime warranty and is available now in 16GB and 32GB capacities with MSRPs of £49.99 and £79.99. The 64GB JumpDrive Triton will be available in February with an MSRP of £149.00. The JumpDrive S73 includes a three-year limited warranty and will be available in February with MSRPs of £15.99 (8GB), £27.99 (16GB), £44.99 (32GB), and £94.99 (64GB).
