Lexar are equipping their Professional series with everything the professional photographer will need.

Lexar Professional Camera strap Specification

  • Lexar Professional Camera Strap Flexible Neoprene shoulder pad
  • Non-slip material
  • Adjustable connector strap
  • Quick release

Setting up and wearing
Each end of the strap connects to the camera using the standard buckle. The main body of the strap is separated from this by a plastic quick release clip which is a great feature.

Moving up to the neck of the strap, the material covers from canvas to Neoprene. Normally, I would say this is a cheap way of doing things, but in hind sight, the Neoprene straps of the past were very bouncy and this alleviates the problem.

The main neck of the strap also has what Lexar call "Aircell" technology which is a series of air filled pockets on the underside of the strap to add to your comfort.

The strap is very well made with strong stitching so the heaviest of DSLRs will be safe. The added benefit of the quick release buckles will be useful for professionals who need to get the camera onto a tripod and don't want the strap getting in the way.

Lexar Professional Camera strap Verdict
The strap is very comfortable to use and after I thought that nothing could really be done to improve upon such a simple thing as a strap, Lexar have come up trumps.

The link is to the US site. Did you purchase from this site Matt? If so, what was the shipping charge to the UK please?

International Shipping $25. Still comparable to Optech prices from WE.

Is that price ($25) inclusive of the $19 article price or additional?
