Press Release: onOne Liquid Resize

onOne Software, Inc., announces today the availability of its Liquid Resize product preview. Available for immediate download from their website, onOne Software's new Liquid Resize software is a ground-breaking way to resize images using a technique known as seam carving to reduce the distortion that typically occurs when manipulating the aspect ratio of an image.

"Since acquiring Liquid Resize earlier this year, our engineering team has been hard at work developing what will become a new Photoshop plug-in for photographers and graphic artists," said Craig Keudell, president of onOne Software. "We're looking forward to hearing what our customers have to say about this new image resizing tool that allows users to maintain the original aspect ratio of a digital image when they resize or adjust the composition of their images."

Liquid Resize beta testers are encouraged to provide onOne Software with their feedback through the onOne Software Support Forums.

About Liquid Resize
Liquid Resize will allow users to resize an image without traditional geometric limitations while minimizing any distortion that would typically result from changing the original aspect ratio of an image.

Availability and pricing
This free product preview of Liquid Resize for both Windows and Mac OS X users is available now as a stand-alone application from the onOne Software Web site. A robust, full-featured Photoshop plug-in version of Liquid Resize is expected to be available in the middle of 2008. Pricing has not yet been announced for the final version of Liquid Resize that will be released later this year.

I am curious to know in what pricerange this product would be situated and wheter it can preserve the quality of the image at any zoom factor.I am currently using a tool from http://reshade.com and just wonder if your tool provides better results and for what price.
