Imaging Experience TheatrePress Release:

Don’t worry - you aren’t missing out by not being at Photokina this year! Bogen Imaging has hooked up to a live feed, allowing you not to miss any key speeches and talks given by renowned photographers and experts in their field.

Visit Bogen Imaging, scroll down to the Video Demo section and click on Photokina 2008 and you are there.

By going to the Bogen Imaging UK website you can find the Imaging Experience Theatre - a unique place at Photokina 2008 and on the internet. It’s a physical and virtual space where some of the best actors of the imaging world will bring and tell their amazing experiences.

Vitec has managed to gather in a 6-day multi channel event some of the most awarded photographers and other imaging artists in the world to create something that must be lived and experienced totally.

From the Himalaya to the Indian Ocean, from advertising to photojournalism, from pictures to multimedia, the theatre presents a wide range of seminars and workshops that will provide a mix of emotion, information and education unique in its genre.

The programme will feature three events everyday, with a meet and greet moment with the artist just before each event. So in addition to the institutional moment of the event, the theatre offers you also the great chance to have a few words with the artists.

Great names of the world photography: like Harry De Zitter, named Adweek American Advertising photographer, and gatherer of such awards as the Kelly Award, One Show, and New York Art Directors Club Gold Awards; and Bill Frakes, Sports Illustrated photographer, awarded the Gold Medal by World Press Photo and hundreds of national and international awards for his work.

Photographers devoted to nature, like Danny Ellinger specialized in travel and wildlife photography and Tzur Shezaf acclaimed writer, journalist and National Geographic photographer.

Sport and adventure will be presented by Giorgio Perottino, LaPresse Photo Agency photographer, who followed the 2008 European Football Championships and the 2008 Olympics in Beijing; and Simone Moro, Alpine guide, athlete, federal instructor who is going to recount the shooting of the world’s highest mountains.

And finally the Italian creativity touch, with the works of artists like Marc De Tollenaere, apprentice of Gianni Berengo Gardin; Jonathan Maher, Director of VSP Workshops, and Roberto Bigano. One more reason to come and plunge into the theatre experience.
